McCormick & Company is seeking a Maintenance Storekeeper at our Global Headquarters in Hunt Valley, MD. You will maintain inventory levels, process parts re-orders, receiving, and restocking while managing purchase orders and lead times.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in manufacturing, strong clerical skills, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. A strong mechanical aptitude and clear communication are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; AA degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Ability to operate storeroom computer and software including Chase, Maximo, SAP or similar systems.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and demonstrate mechanical aptitude.
• Team-based, results-focused work culture and professional communication.
• Flexibility to work shifts to support business needs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory minimum levels and perform parts re-orders, receiving, purchasing, kitting and restocking.
• Create and manage purchase orders, obtain quotes and manage lead times.
• Identify parts with mechanical aptitude and use standardized naming nomenclature.
• Maintain quarterly inventory cycle counts and report accuracy.
• Operate CMMS systems and related tools; collaborate with mechanics and managers.
• Create PO’s and blanket PO’s for annual support agreements.
