Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance in guest rooms and public areas across multiple properties.
  • Complete assigned room quotas and meet daily productivity standards.
  • Identify maintenance issues and report findings to property leadership.
  • Document all work performed in the maintenance system (e.g., QUORE).
  • Travel between assigned properties as scheduled and coordinate with teams.

Job Description:

The Preventative Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs in guest rooms and public areas across multiple hotel properties. This role supports property-level engineering teams by ensuring rooms meet brand standards, safety requirements, and operational expectations. The position requires frequent travel and the ability to work independently while maintaining productivity goals.

Necessary Skills:
  • Perform preventative maintenance in guest rooms, including HVAC checks, plumbing inspections, minor electrical work, paint and wall repair, and furniture adjustments
  • Complete assigned room quotas and meet daily productivity standards
  • Identify maintenance issues and report findings to property leadership
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company standards and safety guidelines
  • Accurately document all work performed in the designated maintenance system (e.g., QUORE)
  • Assist with minor repairs in public areas as needed
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces in clean and safe condition
  • Travel between assigned properties as scheduled
Travel Requirements:
  • Frequent regional travel required
  • Overnight stays may be required based on project location
  • Travel time and assignments will be coordinated in advance
Qualifications:
  • 1–3 years of maintenance experience, preferably in hospitality or facilities maintenance
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repair work
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a company vehicle
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work in various environments, including guest rooms and mechanical spaces
Work Schedule:
  • Full-time, hourly (non-exempt) position
  • Standard workday is 8 hours, including travel between job sites
  • Schedule may vary based on property needs
  • Hourly pay in accordance with company guidelines
  • Eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable laws
  • Travel-related expenses covered per company policy
