Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Sr Technician to care for medium to large buildings for a major technology client on a Monday–Friday day shift. The role covers basic plumbing, low-voltage work, carpentry, drywall and door repairs, PMs, and safety inspections.

You will assign work orders, estimate materials, and ensure building systems run efficiently while upholding CBRE values. A high school diploma and 2–3 years’ related experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2-3 years of job-related experience.
• Certifications in the field are preferred.
• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
• Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance tasks, including basic plumbing, low-voltage work, and carpentry.
• Complete drywall repairs, door and lock repairs, and electric door maintenance as needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and routine inspections, including fire extinguisher checks and other facility maintenance tasks.
• Assign work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs.
• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
• Inspect new installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them.
• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
• Impact the quality of own work.
• Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
• Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.

About the Role:

As a CBRE Maintenance Sr. Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining medium to large-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment while supporting a major technology client. This is a day shift position, Monday through Friday.

This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. You will be responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems, including basic plumbing, low-voltage systems and carpentry.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Maintenance Sr Technician position is $36.05 per hour and the maximum salary for the Maintenance Sr Technician position is $38.46 per hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
