Imagineers LLC, a respected Connecticut property management company, is seeking a Maintenance Specialist to keep residential communities safe and well-maintained. You will handle repairs, preventative maintenance, and work orders while prioritizing your workload and working independently.

Qualifications

• Experience in general maintenance and repair across multiple trades.
• Ability to inspect properties regularly and address issues promptly.
• Strong communication to coordinate with managers, homeowners and staff.
• Maintain accurate records of work and reports using maintenance software.

Responsibilities

• Perform exterior maintenance and repairs on residential properties, including plumbing, electrical and carpentry.
• Inspect properties regularly and proactively address maintenance needs.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests with timely, high-quality resolutions.
• Communicate with managers, homeowners and team members and clarify project requirements.
• Complete work orders promptly and document progress in the system.
• Suggest cost-effective improvements for property upkeep and safety.
• Order materials and replace damaged parts as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety protocols.
• Rotating emergency on-call with stipend and double pay for dispatch.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We manage over 220 Condominium Associations and Rental Properties throughout the State of Connecticut in addition to administering the Housing Choice Voucher program for numerous housing authorities including the City of Hartford. Responsibilities:

• Perform general exterior maintenance and repair tasks for residential properties, including but not limited to simple plumbing & electrical, and carpentry.
• Inspect properties regularly to identify maintenance needs and proactively address issues
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests, ensuring timely and high-quality resolutions
• Communicate effectively with property managers, homeowners, and other team members to provide updates and clarify project requirements
• Complete maintenance and repair work orders in a timely fashion
• Maintain accurate records of completed work and report on project progress utilizing our electronic maintenance software
• Recommend cost-effective solutions and improvements for property maintenance and upkeep
• Order materials and replace damaged parts of the property
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow all established safety practices and protocols
• Rotating emergency on call with a stipend and double pay for dispatch
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Experience in performing general maintenance and repair tasks, including simple plumbing & electrical, and carpentry.
• Ability to inspect properties regularly and proactively address maintenance needs
• Proven track record of responding promptly to maintenance requests and ensuring timely, high-quality resolutions
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with property managers, homeowners, and team members
• Ability to manage your schedule efficiently, balancing planned maintenance and urgent repair requests
• Experience in maintaining accurate records of completed work and reporting on project progress
• Ability to recommend cost-effective solutions and improvements for property maintenance and upkeep, enhancing overall efficiency and safety of the properties we manage
