University Health is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform minor maintenance carpentry, electrical, plumbing and fire proofing across its facilities. You will ensure safe, competent, and timely completion of tasks, and you will estimate materials and labor costs as part of the job.

A valid license or the ability to obtain one within 3 months is required, along with a clean Texas driver’s license. Eligible candidates should have at least a high school or GED and one year of experience

Qualificações

• HS diploma, trade school or GED required.
• At least 1 year of experience in two or more building trades such as maintenance, construction, plumbing or electrical.
• Must possess a Maintenance Technician License from the City of San Antonio or obtain within 3 months of employment.
• Valid Texas Class C Driver's License with a clean MVR.

Responsabilidades

• Performs minor maintenance carpentry, electrical, plumbing and fire proofing to maintain, repair and renovate University Health buildings and facilities.
• Ensures safe, competent, efficient, and timely performance of assigned tasks.
• Estimates materials and labor costs, and requisitions as needed.

• POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
• Performs and accomplishes minor maintenance carpentry, electrical, plumbing and fire proofing necessary to the maintenance, repair and renovation of University Healthbuildings and facilities.
• Ensures safe, competent, efficient, and timely performance of assigned tasks
• Estimates materials, labor costs, and requisitions
• EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
• Completion of high school, trade school or equivalent GED
• One year experience ofat least two or more building crafts such as general maintenance, construction, plumbing or electricity is required.
• Must possess a Maintenance Technician License from the City of San Antonio or obtain same within 3 months of employment.
• A valid Texas State driver's license "Class C" and must maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Record
