Boise Cascade has an exciting opening for a Maintenance Specialist!
Responsible for performing custodial duties, minor repairs, and assistance with the receiving of materials and products within the warehouse/yard making up job lot orders. May include cleaning warehouse to meet company standards; removing all refuse from warehouse and yard; operating forklift, banding machine, and radial arm saw; and picking up banding, stickers, and empty pallets from warehouse/yard. Repairs damaged pallets, prepares flatcars for removal from the yard, and moves product to assigned area. Reports the need for repairs and/or safety problems to the operations manager.
Basic Qualifications: HS Diploma, GED or two (2) years equivalent work experience. Must be able to understand and communicate safety and other work related instructions. Requires the ability to follow instructions, drive forklift, and may occasionally operate a banding machine and radial arm saw.
Preferred Qualifications: Typically more than three (3) years of experience in related job function.
