Job summary

Infirmary Health in Mobile, Alabama seeks an experienced maintenance technician to perform general and preventive maintenance to ensure safe and efficient plant operations. The role includes repair, fabrication, and installation of various equipment in line with established standards.

The ideal candidate will have an apprenticeship in electrical/HVAC/plumbing/carpentry or at least 2 of the last 4 years’ maintenance experience, and must hold an active Class D driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 2 of the most recent 4 years’ experience performing maintenance duties in a specialty craft.
• Proficient in the use of a volt/Ohmmeter.
• Active Unrestricted Class D U.S. driver’s license.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

2 of the most recent 4 years’ experience performing maintenance duties in a specialty craft

Proficient in the use of a volt/Ohmmeter

One of the following:

• Completion of an Apprenticeship Program in electrical, HVAC, plumbing or carpentry
• 2 of the most recent 4 years’ experience performing maintenance duties

And

Working knowledge of a minimum of 2 of the following crafts:

• Maintenance Mechanics
• Electrical
• Carpentry
• Painting

HVAC/Refrigeration

Licensure, Registration, Certification:

Active Unrestricted Class D U.S. driver’s license

Desired Qualifications

Completion of a two-year technical school program
