Job Summary

Fleet Response is seeking qualified candidates for the following position: Maintenance Specialist / Service Writer. The Maintenance Specialist is responsible for managing preventive maintenance for the fleets of our clients. This includes working with our customers and vendors to manage maintenance repairs efficiently and accurately.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Main point of contact for all incoming maintenance requests through Auto Integrate and phone.
  • Communicate directly with maintenance vendor review, cost and necessity of estimated work and negotiate cost if necessary.
  • Communicate directly with client contact for repaired authorization.
  • Authorize maintenance work with pre-determined authorization limits.
  • Audit maintenance invoices for accuracy and process for payment.
  • Arrange roadside assistance for maintenance clients.

Qualifications

  • ASE Certification, Service Consultant or able to obtain same.
  • Working knowledge of the Auto Integrate
  • Ideal candidate must have minimum 3-year Service Advisor or service-related experience.
  • Familiar with Alldata and Mitchell.
  • Ability to use a computer to access emails and demonstrate basic Windows skills.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concreate variables in standardized situations.
