Job summary

Beacon is seeking a Maintenance Site Supervisor for Blue Hills Village in Canton, MA to oversee property maintenance and facilities operations. The role requires living within 30 minutes of the property and reports to the Property Manager.

Responsibilities include managing work orders, budget, safety, and coordinating with contractors. The role involves hands-on maintenance, preventive schedules, and coordinating exterior/interior repairs, with on-call shifts and a $1,000 sign-on bonus for new

Qualifications

• Knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use of hand tools and small power tools.
• Must be computer proficient and able to supervise maintenance staff.
• Neat and orderly work habits.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Adequate knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry and heating standards.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance and minor repairs in electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, painting, and heating issues.
• Maintains and updates the work order system with timely closures.
• Prepares purchase orders, requisitions, and contracts for maintenance equipment, supplies and services.
• Develops and adheres to maintenance budget and expenditures.
• Oversees capital projects and ensures safety and compliance.
