Job summary

APAC-Atlantic in Savannah, GA is seeking an experienced Shop Foreperson to lead day-to-day maintenance on trucks, asphalt equipment, and heavy construction gear. You will coach technicians, plan work, and ensure safe, reliable operations to keep projects moving.

You will schedule technicians, manage parts and inventory, maintain records, and coordinate with managers to optimize equipment availability and shop performance.

Qualifications

• Lead a capable maintenance team.
• Schedule, coach, and support mechanics or maintenance technicians.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead shop activities during maintenance, repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance.
• Schedule, assign, and support technicians to ensure safe, efficient work.
• Maintain work orders and report timesheets daily.
• Assist with dispatching drivers and coordinate equipment moves as needed.
• Plan work procedures, identify repair solutions, and suggest improvements.
