Job summary

Blattner is seeking a Maintenance Shop Intern to support daily shop operations, assist technicians and the Shop Supervisor with preventive maintenance, repairs, documentation, parts management, and general organization. This entry-level role provides hands-on exposure to mechanical systems and troubleshooting in a professional maintenance environment.

You will perform basic repairs and routine maintenance tasks under supervision, help keep the shop clean and orderly, and gain practical skills

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in a technical, mechanical, industrial maintenance, or related program.
• Must have completed the first year of college and be moving into the second year of a technical, mechanical, industrial maintenance, or related program.

Responsibilities

• Assist maintenance technicians with basic repairs, inspections, and diagnostics on equipment, tools, or vehicles.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks under supervision (lubrication, filter changes, cleaning, adjustments).
• Maintain a clean and organized shop environment.
