Job summary

Mativ is a global leader in specialty materials seeking a Maintenance Shift Lead to coordinate shift direction, ensure safety, and oversee equipment maintenance. The role involves communicating project status to leadership and repairing production machinery, including motors and conveyors.

The position requires at least 1 year of manufacturing maintenance experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a willingness to travel between plants.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• 1 year experience in a maintenance position in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to communicate effectively before groups of people.
• Ability to work with numbers and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance duties per CMMS, including greasing, oil changes, and cleaning.
• Conducts safety talks at shift start.
• Maintains 6S housekeeping and updates the board.
• Builds work orders for technicians and coordinates resources.
• Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical devices in operation.
• Maintains parts inventory and assists with tooling.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
