Tindall Corporation in Spartanburg, SC is seeking a maintenance technician to perform preventative maintenance checks and routine service on all equipment in our production facilities.

You will follow safety and quality rules, conduct daily checks, and document readings as part of a preventive maintenance program. This role supports reliable operation of rolling stock and production lines, ensuring high-quality outputs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 months related maintenance experience or training.
• Comply with safety and quality rules and procedures.

Summary of Primary Functions:

Perform preventative maintenance checks and routine service on all equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

All employees are required to follow all Safety and Quality rules and processes to ensure a safe working environment, and the production of high-quality products. Obtain preventative maintenance on equipment as required by preventative maintenance program. Scheduled maintenance includes: change oil and filters, grease rolling stock, production equipment and electrical motor bearing, change fuel and air filters, inspect antifreeze base in coolant system and power steering fluid levels, inspect oil level for transmission, rear end and gear cases. Perform daily maintenance checks on equipment as it becomes available each workday. Daily maintenance checks include: inspect oil and coolant levels, inspect air filters, grease rollers, drive chains and feed screws, inspect batteries and tire pressures, check power steering and hydraulic fluid levels. Drain and clean air tanks and inspect air lines, document reading from metered equipment on daily checklist(s).

Job Specifications or Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
