Job summary

Morgan Properties is seeking a Service Technician to maintain apartment community facilities in Maryland. This full-time role offers a $19–$24 hourly wage, a $1500 sign-on bonus, and benefits such as medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, PTO and holidays.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting HVAC, appliances, carpentry, electrical and plumbing issues, keeping spaces compliant, and communicating with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• One year of related experience or an equivalent education/experience.
• Active, valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.
• HVAC/EPA/CFC certification preferred.

We are seeking a Service Technician with a "Whatever It Takes" approach to join our team! In this full-time role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the physical aspects of this apartment community meet both company standards and applicable laws.

As the Service Technician, you will help to:

• Be responsible for trouble-shooting service issues including, but not limited to, HVAC, general appliance, carpentry, electrical and plumbing.
• Maintain interior and exterior areas in accordance with company standards, compliance requirements, and applicable laws
• Respond promptly and efficiently to maintenance service tickets
• Communicate clearly and professionally with residents and office staff regarding repairs and updates

Compensation & Incentives

• Base Pay: $19.00 – $24.00
• Up to 50% Rent Discount
• Property Staff Shared Renewal Commissions
• Morgan Essentials: $300 quarterly
• On-Call Appreciation: $15/day for holding the on-call phone

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday
• Paid rotating on-call participation required
• Must be available and prepared for emergency events
