Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule maintenance work orders to maximize efficiency and productivity.
• Re-prioritize scheduled work in response to emergencies, parts availability and equipment to optimize technician time.
• Develop and maintain predictive, preventive and condition-based maintenance programs and criteria for equipment; monitor effectiveness.
• Maintain data records and files of work performed, costs, etc.
• Develop and maintain backlog of ready work orders for mechanics.
• Generate and update PM schedules, adjusting as needed to meet changing conditions.
• Run and distribute monthly open item reports to verify all items are up to date.
• Create work orders with all required information (equipment numbers, classifications, budget items, shutdown requirements).
• Ensure compliance with company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines and local/state/federal laws and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned (e.g., back-up receptionist, mail distribution).

PRIMARYFUNCTION:

RESPONSIBILITIESANDTASKS:

• Underminimalsupervision,evaluatemaintenanceworkorderloadandscheduleworkusingplanningsoftwarefordaily, weekly or longer term to maximize efficiency and enhance productivity
• Re-prioritizescheduledworkinresponsetoemergencies,availabilityofparts,andequipmenttomakeefficientuseof maintenance team member time
• Participateindevelopingandupdatingpredictive,preventativeandcondition-basedmaintenanceprogramsandcriteriafor installed operational equipment; reviews criteria and participates in monitoring and evaluating effectiveness
