Job summary

Maas Verde Landscape Restoration, a Central Texas-based landscape design-build company, is seeking a Maintenance Sales Representative to grow its landscape maintenance business. You will partner in marketing, build client relationships, and manage opportunities from lead generation through project completion.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with organizational and analytical skills, capable of delivering detailed reporting, coordinating with Project Managers, and helping clients

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in a related discipline.
• Understanding of construction, environment, and landscaping industry preferred.
• 2+ years’ experience in landscape maintenance sales, irrigation, or project management preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word required.
• Experience reading, interpreting, negotiating contracts required.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills essential.

Maas Verde Landscape Restoration is a Central Texas-based landscape design-build company specializing in sustainable solutions for residential, commercial, and government projects. We provide comprehensive services including construction, earthwork, irrigation, masonry, planting, and ecological restoration. Our mission is to create functional, environmentally conscious landscapes tailored to each client’s needs.

The Maintenance Sales Representative will focus on growing Maas Verde’s landscape maintenance business. The associate will partner in marketing efforts, build client relationships, and manage opportunities from lead generation through project implementation. Successful candidates will possess strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills, along with the ability to grow and maintain our customer service, and be open to learning new ways of providing maintenance solutions for our customers.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• DELIGHT our clients, as well as internal management, with their eye for detail, their knowledge of native landscapes, and their clear, concise, consistent, client-centered communication
• Demonstrate strong customer service skills

• Exhibit professionalism when interacting with customers, vendors, and management

• Demonstrate excellence in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams, and general computer literacy – we do not have the management bandwidth to check formatting, grammar, or spelling of every deliverable; this person needs an eye for detail
• Possess strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, and a diligent work ethic. This position requires communication and management of time, processes, and paperwork. The ideal candidate must be incredibly organized and will be rewarded with more clients, more commissions, and thus more documentation required.
• Meeting with new and existing customers to discuss their evolving needs and to assess the quality of Maas Verde’s relationship with them
• Developing sales strategies for lead generation and conversion
• Establishing and managing accounts for new and existing customers
• Coordinate with customers and Project Managers to address and resolve project issues.
• Schedule maintenance projects and coordinate with project coordination to ensure the projects are completed by the scope of work and maintenance contract.
• Scheduling maintenance on-site consultations
• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of all required maintenance materials
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures
• Provide excellent paperwork/file management for company management
• Provide excellent weekly and monthly reporting of all aspects of the Maintenance Division, from job costs to hours worked to qualitative outcomes of the site itself

Your Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting, architecture, business, construction management, construction technology, economics, engineering, environmental science, finance, natural resources, project management, or other related discipline is preferred
• Understanding of the construction, environment, and landscaping industry is preferred
• 2+ years’ experience in landscape maintenance sales, irrigation, or project management is preferred
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word is required
• Experience reading, interpreting, negotiating, and understanding contracts is required
• Work experience demonstrating strong analytical and interpersonal skills is important
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced team environment
• Superior written communication and presentation skills is required
• An ability to analyze data and present findings is required
• Able to multitask and demonstrate a commonsense approach to problem solving
• Effective written and oral communication skills with colleagues and customers at all levels within the organization is required
• Able to demonstrate initiative and effective time management skills to develop knowledge and skills necessary to fulfill job responsibilities in an independent and thorough manner
