Job summary

Busch Gardens Williamsburg is seeking a Maintenance Ride Technician I to perform general maintenance on rides to ensure guest and team member safety. Responsibilities include daily inspections, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.

You will play a key role in delivering a safe, enjoyable experience for guests while adhering to safety procedures and company standards. Weekend, evening, and holiday availability is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a park driver’s license.
• Ability to pass ride competency tests and obtain certification.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and work at heights above 150 feet.
• Excellent communication skills and basic math abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily ride inspections.
• Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled services.
• Provide support in troubleshooting problems with mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic equipment.
• Provide excellent service to guests and team members.
• Consistently practice safe work habits including PPE use and reporting unsafe situations.
