This position is to make minor repairs to buildings, facilities, grounds, locks, light equipment, appliances, or to perform general maintenance in other shop areas in the maintenance in other shop areas in the maintenance department and throughout the campus. This position is also subject to drug testing due to safety and security sensitive work. This position requires a valid driver's license at time of appointment and may require a clear driving record if required to drive on behalf of the University.
One year of experience or training in the building construction trades, building maintenance, maintenance or repair of mechanical equipment, or park operations and grounds maintenance; OR Six semester hours in construction management, construction technology, or engineering, or any combination of these courses.

Monday - Thursday: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Friday: 7:30 - 11:30 AM
Probational. This vacancy is being announced as a classified position. This is a full-time, 40-hour per week position and considered non-exempt under the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act and overtime can be mandatory. This position is also subject to drug testing due to safety and security sensitive work. This position requires a driver's license at time of appointment, and may require a clear driving record if required to drive on behalf of the University.
