Employ-Temps is seeking Maintenance/Repair Technicians in Cortland, OH to maintain and repair industrial machinery and plant facilities. This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday 6:00am–2:00pm shift and competitive pay based on experience.

You will perform repairs, inspections, and troubleshooting on machines, read drawings and specs, and work across multiple trades including electrical, plumbing, and welding.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Three+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use a wide range of hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Performs repairs and maintenance on machines and equipment or in plant or office facilities
• Tests, inspects, troubleshoots, and repairs machines and equipment.
• Conducts routine, periodic, or special inspections to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment.
• Reads blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, and specifications
• Works in carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical, sheet metal fabrication, welding
• Uses hand and power tools
• Operates crane or forklift when required

Maintenance/Repair Technicians

We currently have several full-time opportunities for experienced Maintenance/Repair Technicians for a customer in Cortland, OH that offers world-class technology products to guarantee excellence in metals production. In this position, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of industrial machinery as well the plant facilities.

Shift:

• Monday- Friday 6:00am - 2:00pm

Pay:

• Based on experience (competitive)

Key Responsibilities

• Performs repairs and maintenance on machines and equipment or in plant or office facilities
• Tests, inspects, troubleshoots, and repairs machines and equipment.
• Conducts routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment.
• Uses blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications
• Typically performs work in one or more of the maintenance trades: carpentry, plumbing, painting, machine and equipment repair, electrical, sheet metal fabrication, and welding
• Uses hand and power tools
• Crane/Forklift

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three plus years of related experience in a manufacturing environment
• Mechanical aptitude required Proper use of a wide variety of hand and power tools, as well as testing and troubleshooting equipment
