Job summary

Entertimeonline seeks a Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and inspections at a Memphis facility. You will use MVI software to log tickets, assist with various site projects, and maintain equipment including plumbing, doors, and fuel systems.

The role requires at least 2 years of hands-on maintenance experience, a valid driver's license, and strong communication and teamwork skills. Shift is Tue-Fri 6am-4pm, full-time on-site position.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of verifiable experience as a Maintenance or Repair Technician.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs.
  • Experience with preventative maintenance and equipment upkeep.
  • Valid driver’s license with no points or infractions.
  • Willingness to learn carwash equipment repairs in time.

Responsibilities

  • Create service tickets using MVI software and perform inspections.
  • Carry out facility cleaning and maintenance tasks as directed.
  • Conduct monthly facility inspections and document results.
  • Perform inspections, minor repairs, and preventative maintenance on plumbing, fuel systems, gates, and doors.
  • Support management on special projects and ensure safety compliance.

Pay Rate:
  • Full-time hourly position with a pay rate of $20-$23/hour commensurate with experience
  • Shift, Tues.-Fri. 6am-4pm
Qualifications and Experience:
  • A minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience as a Maintenance or Repair Technician, or a graduate or upcoming graduate from a Vocational/Trade/Technical School
  • Ability to troubleshoot and make minor repairs to equipment and tools
  • Ability to work with your hands and operate power tools and equipment
  • Experience with preventative maintenance
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with no points or infractions
  • Experience with carwash equipment repairs a plus, but not required
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and ask for help when needed.
  • Ability to establish and maintain solid working relationships with other MVI/FFM teammates and customers (Airport Authority and Rental Car Agencies) and to contribute to team efforts.
  • Must exhibit excellent communication and organizational skills
Duties and Key Responsibilities:
  • Use MVI proprietary software to create service tickets for all work performed and perform inspections as required by the Facility Manager
  • Assist the management team with a variety of projects based on facility needs including, but not limited to, the following:
    • Cleaning-complete various facility cleaning projects using a variety of different chemicals, products and tools
    • Perform monthly facility inspections and upload information in the software system
    • Perform other inspections as directed by the management team
    • Plumbing-perform inspections, minor repairs, preventative maintenance, and projects – toilet, urinal, faucet fixtures, water fountains, eye wash stations
    • Pressure Washing-pressure wash specific areas as directed
    • Car Wash– train to become familiar with the general operation and maintenance of the car wash systems
    • Vacuum Turbines and Systems-cleaning vacuum knockouts and separators
    • Fuel System-perform a visual monthly inspection of the fuel system, replace dispenser hanging hardware parts, respond to emergencies, dispatch petroleum equipment
    • Fuel Drops-Be available to meet fuel carriers at the facility forfuel drops when needed
    • Spill Buckets-perform the weekly cleaning of the fuel drop remote fill “Spill Buckets” and complete the monthly spill bucket inspection
    • Spill Cabinets-stock spill cabinet’s spill/absorbents weekly and as needed
    • Responsible for snow and ice removal equipment and process-ability to use all snow and ice removal equipment and make necessary repairs to equipment as needed
    • Gates and Doors: perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs of the gates, office doors, and car wash doors
    • Utility and Transportation Vehicles: gain a working knowledge of MVI utility vehicles and transportation vehicles, perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs to the vehicles
    • Prepare facility for inclement weather and remove snow and ice, as needed
    • Complete and pass OSHA online training module
    • Complete Daily Lube oil inventory reports and submit to Manager daily
    • Maintain lube oil hoses and equipment
  • Must be able to work in an indoor/outdoor field environment and to travel to different sites as needed
  • Must be able and willing to train other employees on equipment and systems
  • Must be able to work on a site that includes exposure to noise, dust, grease and extreme weather and temperature conditions
  • Must be able to have sufficient physical ability and the ability to walk, stand and sit for prolonged periods of time
  • Must be able to stoop, bend, kneel, crawl, climb and make repetitive hand movement to perform daily duties
  • Must be able to push and pull heavy amounts of weight
  • Must be able to s ee in the normal visual range with or without correction
  • Must be able to h ear in the normal audio range with or without correction
  • Other projects that may arise not listed – structural, equipment, facility systems, and individual Rental Car Agency space common requests and repairs
