Insight Global is seeking a Maintenance & Reliability Mechanic to support a manufacturing facility in Hayward, CA. This hands-on role focuses on mechanical maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, and ensuring production continuity within a single building that includes chemical production and offices.

You will perform planned maintenance, inspect equipment, document findings, and follow maintenance lead directions.

Competenze

• 2+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial facility.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with experience troubleshooting and repairing production or facility equipment.
• Ability to follow directions, learn new skills quickly, and work safely with limited supervision.
• Clear communication skills and sound judgment when escalating issues to the maintenance lead or manager.
• Dependability and willingness to work independently in an active chemical manufacturing environment.
• Availability for the onsite schedule and occasional weekend coverage; OT available.
• Able to reliably work onsite, 5 days per week, in Hayward, CA from 9a-5:30p PT.

Our client is seeking a Maintenance & Reliability Mechanic to support the safe and reliable operation of one of its manufacturing facilities in Hayward, CA. This is a hands-on, mechanically focused role supporting a single building that includes both chemical production and office space. The mechanic will perform planned maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, complete facility upkeep, inspect and report on equipment condition, and help maintain production continuity. Most assignments are completed independently or with one to two team members, so this candidate must be dependable, able to follow direction, and comfortable escalating issues to the maintenance lead if not able to resolve them independently/themselves.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience rebuilding pumps and troubleshooting mechanically focused equipment.
• Basic electrical maintenance or troubleshooting experience.
• Maintenance, mechanical, electrical, or other relevant technical training certificate.
• Experience supporting chemical manufacturing equipment or a similar process-manufacturing environment.

Compensation

Starting at around $60,000 annually. Full-time/permanent position paid on hourly basis; overtime work available and eligible for performance-based variable bonus plans. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
