Job summary

NEXPERA is seeking a Maintenance Manager at the James River Plant in Richmond, VA to lead maintenance operations, drive safety, and optimize asset performance. The role requires directing a team including a Warehouse Manager, Maintenance Planner, technicians, and mechanics while coordinating with contractors.

Responsibilities include planning maintenance work, controlling costs, and supporting capital projects. The worker must ensure compliance with process safety management and plant standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field or 10+ years in chemical/petrochemical operations in maintenance/operations.
• 3+ years supervisory experience in a manufacturing facility.
• Experience following PSM guidelines preferred.
• HazWoper/HazMat training preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead the James River Site Maintenance Organization and drive Safety, Health, and Environmental performance.
• Direct maintenance scheduling, staffing, and cost management, including contract services and warehousing.
• Oversee TAR (turnaround) planning and execution, budgeting, and procurement.
• Coordinate capital budgeting and small capital projects; support大型 projects with Project Engineering.
• Manage site contracts, enforce safety/quality/compliance, and maintain vendor relationships.
• Serve as alternate Facility Security Officer (FSO) and pursue TWIC.
• Support reliability programs with Mechanical Integrity/QA Engineer.
