Job summary

NEXPERA is seeking a Maintenance & Reliability Engineer for its Burnside (Darrow, LA) site. The role focuses on reliability of rotating/fixed equipment, ownership of the site's reliability program, and implementing best practices to ensure continuous, safe operation of sulfuric acid, oleum, sulfur trioxide processes.

The engineer will lead reliability studies, manage maintenance strategies, and collaborate with design/operations to maximize asset performance while following site MOCO procedures

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred).
• Minimum 3 years in Mechanical Integrity/QA or Maintenance supervision.
• Minimum 5 years in manufacturing operations/maintenance (chemical industry preferred).
• TWIC card or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Provide reliability engineering expertise across mechanical, electrical, and control equipment.
• Conduct reliability studies and implement improvements for asset productivity.
• Lead reliability program for turbines, pumps, compressors, valves and fixed equipment.
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Define condition monitoring requirements and lead predictive/ preventive maintenance.
