Clarios, LLC seeks an experienced reliability leader to drive data-based decisions and prioritize maintenance programs that improve equipment performance in a Tampa manufacturing plant. You will balance daily operations with a long-term reliability strategy and develop teams across maintenance and engineering.
The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering with 15+ years in manufacturing maintenance/operations, and 7+ years in reliability.
How You Will Do It Utilize downtime, failure, OEE, MTBF, MTTR, and maintenance cost data to prioritize reliability initiatives and drive data-based decisions. Establish and strengthen preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance programs to improve equipment performance and reduce failures.
The successful candidate is a strong technical and people leader who combines data-driven decision-making with a passion for reliability, continuous improvement, and team development. This individual thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and can effectively balance day-to-day operational needs with long-term reliability strategy. Required Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, Maintenance Management, or an equivalent combination of education and 15+ years of manufacturing maintenance and/or operations experience. 7+ years of industrial maintenance, reliability, or engineering experience. 3+ years of leadership experience. Proven success improving equipment reliability and reducing unplanned downtime. Strong knowledge of industrial electrical and mechanical systems. Experience with CMMS systems and maintenance planning/scheduling. Strong Root Cause Analysis and problem-solving capabilities. Ability to analyze OEE, MTBF, MTTR, downtime, and maintenance cost metrics. Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills. Tampa - Fully Integrated Plant Tampa, Florida is home to a fully integrated plant that manufactures batteries used in cars, boats, motorcycles, and heavy-duty trucks.
