Job summary

Dauch Corporation, a premier Driveline and Metal Forming supplier, seeks a Maintenance Manager to lead the Maintenance and Tool & Die teams at the Salem, IN plant. Drive reliability, safety and continuous improvement across equipment and facilities to support production objectives.

Role requires 5+ years in maintenance/manufacturing with leadership, strong communication, and CMMS proficiency; automotive experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive maintenance or manufacturing experience with leadership.
• Experience in automotive or Tier 1 supplier environments preferred.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic equipment and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Maintenance and Tool & Die teams with staffing, training and performance management.
• Establish preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize reliability.
• Coordinate repairs, shutdowns and outside services with other departments.
• Oversee maintenance of production equipment, tooling, facilities, cranes and material handling.
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for recurring issues.
• Manage budgets, spare parts, vendors and contractors.
• Monitor maintenance metrics and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure safety, quality, environmental and company requirements are met by maintenance activities.
• Develop procedures, standards and equipment documentation; collaborate with Engineering and Plant Leadership.
• Communicate status, priorities and risks to Plant Leadership; promote safety and accountability.
