Job summary

H.B. Fuller is seeking a Maintenance Manager in Illinois to lead maintenance for production equipment. This role oversees the maintenance department, drives preventive/predictive programs, and coordinates with Production Team Management.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in maintenance management or a relevant degree, plus strong experience with electrical/electromechanical systems and plant equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electronics, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or similar field with 5+ years in maintenance management or an equivalent combination.
• Or: vocational school/associates with 7+ years in maintenance; up to 10 years as technician/ mechanic.
• Experience with induction heaters, HVAC, motors, gearboxes, drives, compressors, cooling towers, dust collection is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and execute maintenance projects with the maintenance team.
• Maintain and update the preventative maintenance schedule.
• Report non-conformances and coordinate corrective actions.
• Process purchase orders for maintenance projects.
• Evaluate maintenance staff for training needs.
• Oversee repair and installation activities.
• Identify critical spare parts and manage inventory.
