Job summary

Essity is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for the Cherokee, AL facility. The role leads the maintenance department to improve production reliability and cost. The ideal candidate has significant maintenance leadership experience and familiarity with TPM, PM, and CMMS tools.

We value strong project management, budget oversight, and the ability to guide teams through change while maintaining safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 5 years of maintenance leadership or equivalent technical experience required.
• Maintenance planning experience preferred with thorough knowledge of recognized maintenance planning practices.
• Project management experience preferred.
• Skilled in or able to quickly learn SAP or another Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Skilled in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and Power Point.
• Ability to lead teams through change and improvement.
• Leadership experience with a customer focus on industrial reliability.
• Proven knowledge and track record in world class maintenance safety processes.
• Knowledge of industrial mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage the Maintenance department in alignment with the strategic plan of the company.
• Lead the application of Total Productive Maintenance in the department.
• Determine and implement changes to equipment and processes to improve production and reliability.
• Forecast maintenance needs and manage timelines and budgets.
• Maintain manufacturing equipment and mobile equipment.
• Develop annual maintenance budget and monitor expenditures.
• Design and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Interface with predictive maintenance vendors.
• Lead environmental, health and safety and quality safety systems adherence.
