Job summary

Guardian Industries is seeking a Maintenance Manager to join our DeWitt, Iowa team. You will lead a team maintaining plant machinery including furnaces, batching, utilities, robots and handling equipment, ensuring high reliability and safety.

You will develop and coach the team, implement RCM/FMEA/RCA driven improvements, and manage maintenance data systems to optimize uptime and costs.

Qualifications

Experience leading a maintenance/reliability department.
Experience partnering with production leadership to improve equipment reliability.
Experience developing leading indicators for asset reliability.
Experience maintaining hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical/PLC systems.

Responsibilities

Lead and strategically manage the Maintenance department and all maintenance-related activities aligned with the plant vision.
Provide coaching and feedback to help employees succeed in the organization.
Develop solutions for maintenance and operations using analytical tools such as RCM, FMEA, and RCA.
Create an environment that encourages learning and continuous improvement.
Implement reliability-centered maintenance to keep equipment ready and dependable.
Utilize maintenance data systems that support work orders and preventive maintenance.
Organize, coordinate, and lead the maintenance team to meet plant objectives.
Diagnose equipment problems, determine repair/replacement needs, and reassemble equipment.
Lead cost control and continuous improvement including spare inventory management.
