Job summary

Schneider Electric Corp in the United States is seeking a Maintenance Engineer focused on reliability and maintainability of manufacturing equipment. You will lead RCA, develop preventive and predictive programs, and improve uptime using SAP/CMMS data.

Reporting to the Engineering & Maintenance Manager, you will work with Manufacturing, Maintenance technicians, OEMs, and suppliers to implement upgrades and ensure safety and quality. 86,400–129,600 USD yearly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• 3+ years in maintenance or reliability engineering in industrial/manufacturing environments.
• Experience troubleshooting complex automated manufacturing equipment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation systems.
• TPM, Lean Manufacturing, FMEA, and RCM knowledge preferred.
• Experience with predictive maintenance technologies (vibration, thermography, ultrasound, condition monitoring).
• Hands-on experience with SAP Plant Maintenance (SAP PM) and CMMS.
• Experience working with OEMs, suppliers, and system integrators.
• Strong analytical and written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Improve reliability, availability, and maintainability of manufacturing equipment, reducing downtime and recurring failures.
• Provide advanced technical support for mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, controls, sensors, and automation systems.
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) using 5-Why, Pareto, and FMEA with sustainable corrective actions.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance programs based on criticality and history.
• Analyze equipment performance using OEE, MTBF, MTTR and failure trends to identify improvement opportunities.
• Utilize SAP/CMMS to maintain equipment records, maintenance plans, and spare-parts information.
