Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking an experienced Maintenance Purchaser to manage end-to-end procurement of maintenance parts, tools, equipment, and MRO services. You will work with Maintenance, Planning, Operations, Machine Shop teams, and domestic and international vendors to keep critical materials stocked and minimize downtime.

Salary ranges from $75,000 to $80,000 per year with a first shift and standard 9 AM – 5 PM hours. A High School education is required; 3 years of experience is expected.

• 3 years of experience in maintenance procurement.
• Experience level: Experienced.
• High School education required.

Responsibilities

• Procurement: Request quotes and issue POs for low-stock, out-of-stock, and special-order MRO parts, tools, and services from domestic and international suppliers. Proactively track orders to ensure on-time delivery.
• Vendor Management: Negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms. Communicate with overseas suppliers on specs and shipments. Manage vendor performance and high-value component returns/repair.
• Maintenance & Inventory: Partner with Maintenance Planners to supply parts for preventive/corrective maintenance and minimize downtime. Maintain min/max stock levels, manage replenishment, and coordinate with the Machine Shop for custom components.
• Financials: Track purchasing spend, maintain compliance, identify cost-savings, and handle documentation approval for set thresholds.
• Cross-Functional Support: Communicate status and delays across Operations, Accounting, and Maintenance teams.
