Job summary

H. T. PROF Group, located in the western suburbs of Chicago, seeks a maintenance/reliability professional to help scale our plant operations ahead of rapid expansion and commercialization.

In this role you will perform day-to-day maintenance on current equipment, collaborate with vendors to scope repairs, and take broad ownership of building a robust reliability program with substantial autonomy and impact on future growth.

This is an opportunity to join a startup company that is getting a lot attention (and funding). Currently, the company is on the cusp of rapid expansion - this role will be oriented towards scaling the process on an aggressive schedule with future full-scale commercialization on the horizon. What they need

This company is looking for someone who can help them build some maintenance/reliability systems, both for the plant they have now and for the plant they will be building. This includes day-to-day maintenance activities on the equipment and processes they are currently running, as well as developing a more robust reliability program moving forward. Some days you'll be walking through the plant with a vendor to scope a repair, some days you'll be playing GC on a capital project. The real opportunity here is to have a lot of autonomy and influence in building a maintenance/reliability program that is really young.

Location

The existing facility is located in the Western suburbs of Chicago - surrounding communities include Aurora, Naperville, Wheaton, Geneva, Saint Charles and Elgin. Great location for families and not as expensive as the Cook County/Chicago proper area...but all of that is still either a short train ride or car ride away. Two major airports (O'Hare and Midway), all of the major pro sports teams, limitless concert venues, the beautiful Fox River, and more are all within range.
