Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is hiring a Maintenance Clerk at the Mount Pleasant, IA plant. You will manage maintenance materials stock, obtain quotes, place orders, and keep the tool crib organized to meet plant needs.

You’ll work with vendors, process purchase orders, track receipts, and support procurement activities while upholding 5S standards and safety, with benefits starting day one and a full-time schedule on 1st shift.

Qualifications

• Basic computer knowledge; experience with Excel, Access and Outlook recommended.
• Good customer service and phone skills.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to wear PPE in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Procurement support: obtain quotes and enter requisitions.
• Submit purchase orders and track through completion.
• Receive items, verify packing lists, and deliver to floor.
• Coordinate with vendors and manage vendor relationships.
• Maintain and organize tool crib; perform 5S audits.
• Develop standard work processes for tool crib operations.
