Job summary

Pivot Parking LLC in Greenville, SC is seeking a Parking Garage Maintenance Porter to keep Carmperdown and River garage clean, safe, and operating efficiently. The role covers routine maintenance, trash removal, basic repairs, safety inspections, and clear documentation in daily work orders.

• Previous experience in building maintenance, construction, or related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems commonly found in parking garages.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
• Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, and climbing.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach to service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Routine Maintenance: Perform regular inspections of parking garage structures, equipment, and systems to identify maintenance needs, such as lighting fixtures, elevators, and gates.
• Routine Maintenance: Daily trash collection and disposal both from designated trash cans and bulk items found on daily garage walks.
• Repair and Troubleshooting: Perform minor repairs and adjustments to parking equipment, such as ticket dispensers, payment kiosks, access gates, and elevator systems.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards for parking garage operations, including fire safety, ADA accessibility, and building codes.
• Safety and Compliance: Conduct regular inspections of safety equipment, such as fire extinguishers, emergency lights, and signage, to verify proper functionality and readiness for emergencies.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspection reports, equipment manuals, and inventory of supplies and spare parts.
• Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and submit maintenance reports detailing completed tasks, ongoing issues, and recommendations for improvements to parking garage management.
• Customer Service: Interact professionally with patrons and visitors, providing assistance and information as needed regarding parking policies, directions, and facility amenities.
• Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries or complaints related to maintenance issues, addressing concerns promptly and courteously and assist management with traffic flow and lot closures on an as needed basis

Working Conditions

• Evening, weekend, and holiday work may be required to accommodate maintenance schedules and respond to emergency repair needs.
