Job summary

Linamar Corporation is seeking a Preventative Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance on CNC production machinery. You will follow directions from the Team Leader and Maintenance Manager and support the maintenance team in various tasks to ensure equipment reliability.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a mechanical aptitude with a strong attendance record.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and an excellent attendance record are required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on production machines per directions given by Team Leader and Maintenance Manager.
• Assist maintenance in other areas as directed, including changing and refilling coolant in CNC machines.
• Ensure proper pH balance of coolant to avoid rust or damage to parts.
• Wipe down machines, windows, and parts of the machine to maintain cleanliness.
• Clean and mop areas where coolant leaks occur near machines.
• Perform light equipment repair under the direct supervision of the Team Lead.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Title: Preventative Maintenance Technician

Job Summary: The Preventative Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing all duties regarding preventive maintenance on machinery in a CNC machining environment.

Responsibility:

• Perform preventive maintenance on production machines per directions given by Team Leader and Maintenance Manager.

Competitive Compensation

• Assist maintenance in other areas as directed, including but not limited to:


• Changing and refilling coolant in CNC machines.


• pH balance of coolant to avoid rust or damage to the parts.


• Wiping down the machines, windows, and parts of the machine


• Cleaning and mopping areas where coolant leaks are prevalent with machines.


• Perform light equipment repair under the direct supervision of the Team Lead.


• Other duties as assigned.

Academic/Educational Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
