Job summary

Linamar Corporation is seeking a Preventative Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance on CNC machinery in our Indiana facility. The role requires mechanical aptitude, reliable attendance, and the ability to work in a production environment with supervision from the Team Leader and Maintenance Manager.

Responsibilities include coolant management, machine cleaning, minor repairs, and support across maintenance tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and a strong attendance record are required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance in a CNC environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on production machines per directions given by Team Leader and Maintenance Manager.
• Change and refill coolant in CNC machines.
• Maintain coolant pH balance to prevent rust or damage to parts.
• Wipe down machines, windows, and machine parts.
• Clean and mop areas where coolant leaks are prevalent.
• Perform light equipment repair under supervision.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Summary: The Preventative Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing all duties regarding preventive maintenance on machinery in a CNC machining environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on production machines per directions given by Team Leader and Maintenance Manager.

• Assist maintenance in other areas as directed, including but not limited to:
• Changing and refilling coolant in CNC machines.
• pH balance of coolant to avoid rust or damage to the parts.
• Wiping down the machines, windows, and parts of the machine
• Cleaning and mopping areas where coolant leaks are prevalent with machines.
• Perform light equipment repair under the direct supervision of the Team Lead.
• Other duties as assigned.

Academic/Educational Requirements: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Required Skills/Experience: Mechanical aptitude and an excellent attendance record
