Job summary

EMCOR Services CES is seeking a skilled Plumber for Eglin Air Force Base, FL. You will perform plumbing installations and maintenance, read drawings, and ensure compliance with codes and standards.

The role requires coordinating with researchers and maintenance staff to minimize disruption and maintain safety. Qualified candidates have 3+ years in healthcare facilities, required Florida backflow certification or equivalent, state license, NFPA 99 knowledge, OSHA 10, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in healthcare facilities.
• Backflow Preventer Certification by the State of Florida is required.
• NFPA 99 5.1.14.2.2.5 knowledge helpful.
• State license required to practice.
• ICC journeyman or master certification expected.
• Military journeyman level or higher acceptable if not licensed (DD214).
• OSHA 10 General Industry Safety and Health required (supplied by EMCOR).
• Knowledge of NFPA 99 healthcare facility systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain pipe systems for water, steam, waste, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Repair toilets, sinks, and related fixtures and equipment.
• Service grease traps and oil/gas separators.
• Read and interpret architectural/mechanical drawings.
• Complete PM/CM tickets and maintain records.
