Job summary

EMCOR Government Services, Inc. is seeking a Plumber for the Eglin Air Force Base, FL location. The role involves installing and repairing plumbing systems, responding to restroom repairs, and maintaining valves, drains, and backflow preventers.

You will read drawings, assist with lab and facility plumbing, and ensure compliance with codes and standards. Qualified candidates have at least 3 years in healthcare facility plumbing, Florida backflow certification, a valid state license, and ICC

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years’ experience in healthcare facilities
Backflow Preventer Certification by the State of Florida
State license is required
Passing ICC national journeyman or master certification exam
Must complete OSHA 10 General Industry Safety and Health training (EMCOR-provided)

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems (water, steam, waste, hydraulic, pneumatic)
Respond to repairs of toilets/restrooms and clogged drains
Service grease traps, oil/gas separators and backflow preventers
Complete PM/CM work tickets and maintain records
Read and interpret architectural and mechanical drawings
Coordinate inspections and minimize disruption to facilities
