Job summary

Amcor Madison is seeking a dedicated Parts Room & Maintenance Planner on a full-time basis in Madison, WI. The role focuses on planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance resources, parts, and materials to maximize uptime and asset reliability.

You will collaborate with maintenance and production teams to optimize capacity and lifecycle asset management, while promoting safe work practices and efficient inventory control.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5–7 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and follow directions.
• Regular attendance and positive interactions with others.

Responsibilities

• Promote and assure safe work habits including compliance and improvements to safety procedures.
• Ensure equipment, parts, and personnel are available through procurement and inventory management to efficiently complete each work order with minimal downtime.
• Work with operations to prioritize and plan work based on equipment availability, resources, safety impact and outside contractor availability when needed.
• Create and delegate daily work orders based on maintenance requests and schedules.
• Review completed work orders for discrepancies and formally close them after review.
• Provide technical advice on equipment modification and time estimates for maintenance projects.
