Summary/Job Scope:

The primary responsibility of the role is to manage the purchase requisition, receipts and scheduling of PM’s for the North American Ready Mix businesses Focusing on the achievement of a streamlined, efficient and customer-valued system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plans, leads, and organizes the work activities of the Scheduling and Efficiencies team, including, but not limited to:
    • Entering documents into SAP, Ariba, and Sigga (PR, GR, Work Orders, and SES (service entry sheets).
    • Report generation from SAP, Sigga, and Ariba.
    • Reconciliation of entries in different systems to ensure consistency.
    • Assist and provide training to field operations group in relation to PR creation and GR entry, Sigga Processes to achieve a high level of efficiency and turnaround time within the purchasing and scheduling process.
    • Reconciliation of monthly physical counts and resolving variances.
  • Ensures that vendor payment and billing issues/discrepancies are identified and resolved in a timely fashion so as to preserve a strong vendor relationship.
  • Manages the problem-solving process on related inventory, PR, GR, AP and Sigga topics between departments, customers and vendors.
  • Develops ad hoc reports for assisting in locating discrepancies.
  • Works with Shared Services and Maintenance departments ensuring that documents are accurately reporting financial and operation costs.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and three-five years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Understanding of multiple systems and which information is stored in which system.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, filters, V-lookups, etc.).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Access.
  • Knowledge of SAP software and reporting tools is required.
  • Knowledge of Ariba is preferred.
  • Skills necessary to manage and oversee a department of 5 – 10.

Salary Range: $90,000 - $99,000
