Job summary

Compass Minerals in Ogden, Utah seeks a Maintenance Planner/Supervisor to coordinate equipment data and work orders, aligning PM/PdM programs with production needs. The role ensures EPLs, part availability, and accurate WO coding across the plant.

The position involves backlog management, turnaround planning, and collaboration with Reliability Engineering and purchasing to maintain safe, efficient operations and meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Journeyman license or equivalent in Electrical and/or Mechanical trades.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 7-10 years’ experience in electrical and/or mechanical trades.
• Maintenance supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate equipment master data and the work order system.
• Organize all equipment technical information in the CMMS for accessibility and archiving.
• Create and maintain Equipment Parts Lists (EPL) for all equipment.
• Collaborate with Reliability Engineering on PMs & PdMs.
• Convert Work Requests to Work Orders and ensure accurate coding and up-to-date status.
• Identify downtime and manage work order backlog to fit PM master schedule.
• Develop work instructions and ensure safety and process compliance.
• Coordinate with warehouse for parts, staging, and requisitions.
• Support turnaround planning and capital project requests.
