Job summary

Compass Minerals is seeking a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler for the Ogden, Utah facility. The role focuses on planning and scheduling maintenance activities, managing equipment master data, and coordinating turnarounds to support safe, efficient production.

Ideal candidates will have a journeyman license or equivalent, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 7–10 years in electrical/mechanical trades, and maintenance supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Journeyman license or equivalent experience in Electrical and/or Mechanical trades.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 7-10 years’ experience in electrical and/or mechanical trades.
• Maintenance supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage equipment master data and the work order system.
• Develop and maintain weekly, shutdown, and long-range schedules.
• Manage the work order backlog to ensure progress through planning.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules with production to support long-term production requirements.

Education

Journeyman license or equivalent experience in Electrical and/or Mechanical trades

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

7-10 years’ experience in electrical and/or mechanical trades

Maintenance supervisory of equivalent experience required
