Brown & Root Industrial Services is seeking a Mechanical Planner with proven experience to prepare complete estimates for assigned projects and determine project plans and specifications. You will review historical data, estimate worker-hours and materials, and interpret drawings to define the scope of work.

The role requires exacting accuracy, adherence to safety rules, and the ability to plan activities and select proper tools.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent with prior years of field experience.
• Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures in the field.
• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform job functions.
• Works under immediate supervision and typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

Responsabilidades

• Reviews historical data from POs, subcontracts and productivity reports to determine unit and man-hour figures.
• Estimates worker-hours and materials required to complete the job.
• Reviews specifications and drawings to determine scope of work and required estimate contents.
• Maintains files of working documents and backup for estimate figures.
• Reads and interprets instructions and plans work activities.
• Moves materials and equipment to work locations and sets up work sites.
• Follows all hazardous waste handling guidelines.
• Completes records, maintains tools and equipment, and performs cleanup tasks.
• Observes and complies with safety and project rules; performs other duties as required.
