Position Summary

We are seeking a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler/Parts Room Superintendent in Concord, NC. This key role supports our maintenance and reliability initiatives by managing work planning, scheduling, and parts room operations. The candidate will develop detailed work plans, manage materials, tools, permits, labor, and ensure safety and efficiency on the production floor.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage maintenance planning and scheduling activities, ensuring accurate data entry and asset database updates.
2. Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and external departments to optimize work plans.
3. Utilize Maximo CMMS or similar software for work management, reporting, and process improvements.
4. Oversee parts room operations, managing inventory, procurement, and safety standards.
5. Coordinate maintenance activities to maximize equipment uptime and efficiency.
6. Prepare maintenance forecasts and reports, analyze work order data, and track key performance indicators.
7. Lead procurement and contract administration for maintenance services.
8. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and SOX controls, including contractor management.
9. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for parts and inventory management.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years related maintenance planning and scheduling experience.
• Preferred: specialized training in maintenance or related fields.

Physical and Environmental Conditions

May involve moving equipment, accessing files and supplies, and working in plant environments with exposure to noise, chemicals, and variable temperatures. Use of protective gear is required.
