Maintenance Planner / Scheduler II

Job summary

RigUp, Inc. in Williston, ND seeks a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler II to develop and maintain 1–4 week maintenance schedules for oil and gas facilities. You’ll coordinate labor, contractor, material, and equipment resources, and support outages and major maintenance events.

Strong CMMS experience (SAP PM, Maximo, Oracle) and Excel/Power BI for reporting are required; 2+ years in maintenance planning with a technical degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, maintenance coordination, or related operations roles.
• Experience in oil and gas, energy, industrial, manufacturing, or related operations.
• Proficiency with SAP PM, Maximo, Oracle, Emaintenance or similar CMMS systems.
• Oracle experience and dataset experience required.
• Microsoft Excel skills, including reporting and data analysis.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Associate's degree in a technical, business, engineering technology, or related field preferred, but not required if candidate has equivalent years of experience.
• Experience supporting production facilities, compressor stations, gathering systems, pipelines, or gas processing plants preferred.
• Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance programs preferred.
• Experience with Power BI or similar reporting and analytics tools preferred.
• Experience coordinating facility shutdowns, turnarounds, or outage planning preferred.
• Experience mentoring junior schedulers or leading scheduling meetings preferred.
• Familiarity with reliability-centered maintenance and continuous improvement practices preferred.

Job Description:

The Maintenance Scheduler II is responsible for developing, coordinating, and maintaining maintenance schedules that support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of oil and gas facilities. This role partners closely with Operations, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to ensure maintenance activities are properly planned, prioritized, resourced, and executed. The Scheduler monitors backlog health, coordinates workforce and contractor resources, tracks schedule performance, and drives continuous improvement in maintenance work management processes. This position provides CMS support and scheduling, and is expected to be a long-term 3+ year role. Candidates must be local or willing to relocate at their own expense.
