Job Description:

About the Role:

As a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler II, you will support our Wayland, MI plant, overseeing maintenance planning for non-dairy coffee creamer production. Your responsibilities include coordinating schedules, planning preventive maintenance, and ensuring timely work order execution to enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and determine planning requirements, estimating time, cost, and parts
• Scope maintenance jobs, identify materials, tools, and resources
• Research OEM manuals and technical documents for accurate planning
• Schedule equipment shutdowns, rebuilds, and preventive activities
• Partner with maintenance leadership on scheduling machinery and electrical systems
• Manage preventive maintenance orders, SAP transactions, and parts inventory
• Maintain equipment documentation in compliance with procedures
• Enter data into SAP for work order tracking
• Manage urgent work orders as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Important Details:

• Full-time, on-site, first shift, with occasional flexibility for other shifts and weekends

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; related degree preferred
• Minimum 5 years plant maintenance experience, including with packaging equipment
• At least 1 year in maintenance planning and scheduling
• Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and conveyor systems with troubleshooting skills
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office
