Maintenance Planner & Scheduler

Responsibilities:
Safety Focused
- Ensuring safety is the first goal of getting any task completed.
- Encouraging the execution of permits and use of all required PPE.
- Participating in PSSRs, risk assessments, and RCAs as needed.
- Maintain accurate SDS documentation for all lubricants and chemicals stored in maintenance.
Maintenance Planning/Scheduling
- Schedule maintenance activities across all Manus Bio facilities in Augusta, including but not limited to Sand 81, Fermentation, Utilities, and Waste Treatment.
- Schedule preventative maintenance according to specific machinery/unit operations. Create additional PMs for equipment not currently included. Set PM frequency per manufacturer requirements.
- Ensure repairs and projects are completed timely and meet company expectations.
- Utilize FIIX to coordinate planning and interface with stakeholders to optimize workflow.
- Manage the FIIX system, including licenses and features.
- Report weekly maintenance KPIs to management and adjust plans as needed.
- Hold weekly planning meetings with maintenance, utilities, and production teams for upcoming schedules.
- Develop equipment BOM structures within FIIX for all assets in use.
- Propose and implement schemes or software to improve planning efficiency.
- Schedule FTE hours considering personnel availability, PTO, and workload.
- Demonstrate flexibility to shift activities with company demand and expedite work orders as needed.
Maintenance Supervising
- Develop, schedule, and execute the annual Site Shutdown, coordinating with production for equipment downtime.
- Organize internal maintenance projects, ensuring work orders reflect actual work performed.
- Review critical information with personnel prior to work.
- Build strong relationships with vendors and contractors, ensuring safety and compliance records are updated.
- Maintain and review maintenance plans for seamless execution.
Outside Services
- Update service agreements and inspections for equipment such as air compressors, cranes, dryers, elevators, HVAC, and chillers.
- Procure rental equipment supporting production and maintenance needs.
- Perform facility repairs with outside resources, including piping, drainage, roofing, insulation, and demolition work.
Accounting Procedures
- Obtain POs prior to services or material receipt.
- Maintain purchase records and process invoices in SAP for month-end deadlines.
Documentation/Recordkeeping
- Keep accurate records per file structure, including equipment, safety, projects, and repairs, some stored in FIIX for future reference.
Work Environment:
- Work involves office and uncontrolled environments with exposure to dust, fumes, chemicals, noise, and weather. Safety standards and PPE are mandatory.
- Physical activities include walking, standing, handling, reaching, climbing, stooping, and lifting up to 10 pounds.
Required Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in cGMP environments.
- Experience with CMMS systems like SAP or FIIX.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in biochemistry, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, energy, or oil and gas industries.
