Job summary

Chipton-Ross Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Planner for a 6‑month extendable contract in Memphis, TN. The role focuses on planning and scheduling maintenance activities across emergency, preventive, and normal Work Orders, with SAP as a primary tool.

Ideal candidates bring 5 years of maintenance planning experience, broad chemical plant operations knowledge, and strong communication and organizational skills. The position requires accuracy and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in maintenance planning and work execution.
• Broad knowledge of chemical plant operations in a similar role.
• Clear written and verbal communication, interpersonal and team building, initiative, organization, problem solving and analytical ability.
• Accuracy and attention to detail required.
• Computer skills including Microsoft Office required.

Responsibilities

• Develop job scope and plan for emergency, preventative, and normal Work Orders; order parts as needed.
• Use SAP to develop and implement maintenance schedule with PMs, WO Priority, Backlog, and Manpower loading; coordinate outside resources as needed.
• Host routine stakeholder meetings to communicate the schedule and plant needs.
• Create procedures for work processes management from notification to completion, and train SAP users.
• Create and update BOMs, Task Lists, and Maintenance Plans; support site audits (PSM, ISO, etc.); stand in for Maintenance Supervisor as needed.
