Job summary

Aerotek in Mocksville, NC is seeking a Maintenance Planner to support maintenance operations by planning, scheduling, and coordinating activities on the plant floor. You will review work orders, create job plans, coordinate parts, and help ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently.

This permanent, first-shift role requires experience with maintenance planning in manufacturing, CMMS knowledge, and strong scheduling skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance planning in an industrial/manufacturing setting.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and CMMS.
• Strong planning, scheduling, data entry and inventory management skills.
• Experience with parts management and coordinating maintenance materials.
• Ability to oversee parts room operations.

Responsibilities

• Review and prioritize maintenance work orders in the CMMS.
• Inspect equipment and verify job requirements on the plant floor.
• Estimate labor, tools, parts, and safety requirements for maintenance tasks.
• Create detailed job plans and work instructions for technicians.
• Manage parts inventory and ensure materials are available for scheduled work.
• Order non-stock parts and coordinate deliveries.
• Schedule and coordinate work with outside contractors as needed.
• Lead maintenance scheduling meetings with operations and maintenance teams.
• Develop and maintain weekly maintenance schedules.
• Track maintenance performance metrics and identify improvement opportunities.
• Update maintenance procedures, BOMs, and documentation.
• Record completed maintenance activities to support equipment reliability.
