Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America is seeking a Maintenance Planning Coordinator to coordinate in-house maintenance, preventive programs, and the work order backlog using SAP. You will schedule daily and weekly activities, manage parts inventory, and prepare operational reports while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2–4 years in MRO, manufacturing, or related work.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Certification and/or License may be required during course of employment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate in-house preventive and planned maintenance and work order backlog.
• Prepare, review, update, and close maintenance work orders in SAP.
• Manage work order backlog to minimize downtime and schedule work based on production needs.
• Schedule daily and weekly maintenance activities.
• Procure parts and production supplies and negotiate prices.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance parts and supplies.
• Maintain manuals, prints, and schematics.
• Manage SAP or applicable system (vendors, equipment).
• Prepare maintenance reports and update open orders.
• Collaborate with maintenance staff to improve programs.
• Ensure safe working conditions and compliance with regulations.
• Follow GMP and health, safety, sanitation requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
