Job summary

Conagra Brands is seeking a Maintenance Planner to lead planning, scheduling, and execution of maintenance across assigned manufacturing areas. You will collaborate with Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, and Storeroom teams to improve equipment reliability and safety while supporting capital projects.

Requires 5+ years of maintenance experience, strong mechanical/electrical knowledge, and SAP PM proficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• Five or more years of maintenance experience in industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience with SAP Plant Maintenance, including work orders, job plans, BOMs, equipment history, confirmations.
• Experience planning and executing maintenance, reliability, capital improvement projects.
• Demonstrated leadership coordinating maintenance work and directing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, prioritization, and scheduling of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
• Develop and maintain job plans, labor estimates, BOMs, and maintenance records in SAP.
• Coordinate maintenance work execution, labor allocation, contractor activities, and shutdown planning.
• Partner with Operations and Maintenance leaders to improve schedule adherence and equipment reliability.
• Monitor maintenance performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Analyze maintenance history and reliability data to address recurring issues and improve asset performance.
• Lead small to mid-scale equipment upgrades and reliability projects.
• Support larger capital projects through planning and execution coordination.
• Provide leadership to Maintenance Technicians and address staffing or performance issues.

Job description

Reporting to the Senior Project Engineer, you will lead maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution activities within assigned manufacturing areas while supporting reliability improvements and small to mid-scale capital projects. You will partner with Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, and Storeroom teams to improve equipment reliability, optimize maintenance resources, and support a proactive maintenance culture through effective work management and continuous improvement.

A Taste of Your Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, prioritization, and scheduling of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
• Develop and maintain job plans, labor estimates, bills of material, and maintenance records within SAP.
• Coordinate maintenance work execution, labor allocation, contractor activities, and shutdown planning.
• Partner with Operations and Maintenance leaders to improve schedule adherence, plan attainment, and equipment reliability.
• Monitor maintenance performance metrics and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Analyze maintenance history and reliability data to address recurring equipment issues and improve asset performance.
• Lead small to mid-scale equipment upgrades, reliability, safety, and obsolescence projects.
• Support larger capital projects through planning and execution coordination.
• Provide leadership and direction to Maintenance Technicians within assigned areas and elevate staffing or performance issues as needed.
• Maintain a strong field presence to remove execution barriers and support safe, efficient work completion.
• Participate in root cause analysis, reliability reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Champion safety, lockout/tagout compliance, food safety, and good manufacturing practices.

Ingredients Required for Your Success

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.

• Demonstrated leadership experience coordinating maintenance work and directing priorities.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
• Experience influencing cross-functional teams and driving results.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Compensation

Annual Base Salary: $64,000.00 - $85,000.00

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee's actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees' equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
